    Tom Janvier

    Portrait of Tom Janvier

    Tom Janvier is Programme Officer for the G7 and International Financial Architecture Reform at Focus 2030. He monitors and analyses reforms of the international financial architecture in connection with the G7 under the French presidency, as well as issues relating to development and climate finance.

    He contributes to the production of data-driven analysis and helps facilitate collective dialogue with national and international policymakers. At Focus 2030, he conducts strategic monitoring of development finance mechanisms, debt-related issues and innovative instruments such as international solidarity levies. He also contributes to monitoring the Pact for People, Planet and Prosperity, known as the 4P, and to exchanges between NGOs, public institutions, foundations and think tanks within the PFG7 framework.

    Before joining Focus 2030, Tom Janvier worked as a Policy Analysis and Advocacy Officer at Coordination SUD. In this role, he contributed to French civil society mobilisation on official development assistance in a context of significant budgetary pressure. His work focused in particular on the reallocation of solidarity levies, preparations for the draft Finance Bill and the preparatory process for the fourth United Nations International Conference on Financing for Development, FfD4.

    He holds a master’s degree in European and International Studies from Sorbonne Nouvelle University. His areas of interest include international solidarity, human rights and multilateral diplomacy.
