    Global Health

Global health continues to be shaped by deep inequalities in access to healthcare, treatments, and medical innovations worldwide. Despite significant progress over recent decades, maternal and child mortality rates remain high in many regions, even though effective and low-cost solutions exist. Recent health crises have also highlighted persistent weaknesses in pandemic preparedness and response, as well as the consequences of long-term underfunding of health systems.

This section provides data and analyses to help decode international public health policies, financing mechanisms, and the role of multilateral institutions in the prevention of, preparedness for, and response to global health crises.
