Almost half of all French people in favor of a G7 focused on poverty reduction

Published 2 September 2019 in Surveys

49% of French people say they would like to see global poverty on the agenda for the 2019 G7, presided by France and with member countries of Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK and the US.

This result was revealed by our survey of July-August 2018, a year before the 2019 G7 Summit of Heads of State the 25-27 August 2019 in Biarritz.

This data comes from our survey conducted by the YouGov Institute and piloted by the research team at University College London and the University of Birmingham as part of the project Aid Attitudes Tracker which measures the evolution of opinions and behaviors on issues of international solidarity in four countries.
