The next G7 in 2019: France as a leader in the fight against world poverty?

The majority of French people (49%) support France putting the fight against world poverty on the G7 agenda.

A large majority of the French public approve of the idea of France seizing the opportunity of its 2019 G7 Presidency to deal with global poverty: only 13% of French people oppose this suggestion.

This data comes from our survey conducted by the YouGov Institute and piloted by the research team at University College London and Birmingham University as part of the project Aid Attitudes Tracker which measures the evolution of opinions and behaviors on issues of international solidarity in four countries.
