In 2015, the entire international community pledged to mobilize the necessary resources and adopt public policies to facilitate, among other measures, access to health for all by 2030, by adopting 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The 3rd Sustainable Development Goal specifically aims to "enable people to lead healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages".

The implementation of this roadmap essentially requires a strengthening of international cooperation actions on each of these issues. It is for this reason that Focus 2030 wanted to identify whether the international community had so far been up to the challenge.
